ALICE IN WONDERLAND TUMBLES INTO ATHENS WITH GREAT FUN!
Rose of Athens Theatre is at again! The Athens based theatre is continuing their fifth season with the family classic Alice in Wonderland. The stage version, based on Lewis Carroll’s famous novel Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, follows the journey of a little girl named Alice who stumbles or rather drops into the magical world of Wonderland. There, Alice meets an array of whimsical characters that challenge and inspire her inner spirit. It is a tale of courage, self-discovery, and imagination. Lisa Cesnik Ferguson, Founding Artistic Director of Rose of Athens is excited about the upcoming production, “Not only are we creating this enchanting story, but we are using professionals, community members and local youth to bring this story to life”.
School performances are May 4, 5, 6 & 9 at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Public performances are May 6 at 7:00 PM and May 7 at 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM
