2008 Production at the Morton Theater
THE MISSION of this ongoing program:
The Athens Heritage Project is a Rose of Athens Theatre program conceived in late 2007, with its first performance in May 2008 at the Morton Theater. The program creates short plays and characters that both illuminate and bring to theatrical life the history of downtown Athens, while entertaining visitors and locals, alike. These plays serve downtown Athens, Athens tourism and they speak to the mission, vision and goals of the theater.
