5th Yuletide Celebration – It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play adapted by Joe Landry

Welcome to our 5th Holiday FUNdraiser! This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve. The 5th Yuletide Celebration FUNdraiser of It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play will be held December 13-17 (W-Sat. 8:00PM & Sun. 2:30PM) at Rose Hall. There will be complimentary beverages and holiday treats! The Box Office will open at 7:00PM, the House at 7:30PM for general seating, and curtain at 8:00PM. For the Sunday 12/17 performance the Box Office will open at 1:30PM, the House at 2:00PM for general seating, and curtain at 2:30PM. Please note, seating is limited to 30 audience members each performance.
Tickets are $15.00/each – General Admission. This production is unique because it is a benefit for the services of the nonprofit 501c3, Rose of Athens Theatre, Inc. Without fundraising, RoA cannot continue to offer reasonable ticket prices to schools, financial aid for RoA Academy classes, and free (when applicable) school workshops to the thousands of youth that we serve every year.  A portion of the show’s profits will be donated to an anti-hunger initiative in Athens, GA.

Costumed Characters For Hire

Holiday Collage 2017Add some pizazz to your holiday, party or event! Rose of Athens Theatre has a collection of costumed characters for hire. Characters range from Princesses, like Elsa and Anna (Frozen), classic characters like Alice, The Queen of Hearts (Alice in Wonderland) or Aslan, The White Witch (The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe) to holiday and winter icons like Santa, snowmen, and snowflakes. Plus, many more! Have a specific character in mind? Let us know! Email danielle@roseofathens.org for more information or to book your party.
