Mark Twain’s classic story, Huckleberry Finn delights and challenges audiences, directed by Cindy Nason with live, original music from Bryan Shaw and Michael Brewer, and the energetic performances of Rose of Athens Theatre Professionals and community newcomers!

Rose of Athens Theatre is hitting the road once again with a touring show this season, in addition to ONE WEEKEND of performances at Seney-Stovall Chapel! The company is presenting the classic tale of Mark Twain’s Huckleberry Finn. Huck is on the run from civilization, school and his Pap. He takes to the Mississippi River to escape these trappings and meets up with a runaway slave named Jim. Along his epic journey towards freedom, Huck is able to find peace and acceptance for the first time in his life. Through this he learns the value of friendship, equality and duty. Don’t miss your chance to experience the adventure and genius of Mark Twain! In addition to the amazing performance of this story, Rose of Athens Theatre will be auctioning off the original artwork (designed by Regina McCormick) that was used to create the poster. All proceeds go to beneift the theatre’s growing education program.
